If I were to ask you which foods temp you, probably they wouldn’t be ones that are very healthy. I bet they would be ice cream, potato chips, pizza, or something along those lines. In your mind right now as you’re reading, you are most likely thinking about a food that isn’t healthy. Well, aren’t you? Pick up a minute and think about it …  The point I’m going to make in this article is that you can alter what you long for by altering how you believe.

We don’t have actually to feel temped by ice cream, cookies or 20-ounce prime ribs. Rather, we can be tempted by watermelon, pineapple, oranges or apples. Foods like that. Believe that sounds crazy?

When I initially take a seat and talk with a customer about their eating habits, I collect everything I need to learn about exactly what they consume and how they eat. The culprit to their weight issue always comes down to snacking, choosing, eating foods that are unhealthy or simply plain over-eating. I’ll ask them what fruits and vegetables they like. It can be smoothies, too.

And bingo!!! Next thing you understand these are exactly the kinds of foods they begin wanting. Why? Because anytime you close your eyes and bring yourself to a calm, unwinded place, your subconscious mind emerges, and it is this part of the mind that controls what you long for. Change your thoughts and you’ll alter what you crave. Simple.

Another viewpoint to natural weight loss

Let’s look at this from another viewpoint.

Let’s state pineapple is your favorite fruit. Now, if you were sitting with me right now and I provided you a juicy portion of it, you would enjoy it completely. And you ‘d desire more? Naturally. Now, let’s state I reached into my fridge, whipped-out a piece of chocolate cake and stated, “choose one.” More than likely you would go with the pineapple because you simply had a teaser-piece, which would make your mind want more. The fact of the matter is this: you enjoy your preferred fruits just as much as you enjoy your favorite processed food, you simply think otherwise.

Food cravings are over-rated

Once again, food cravings are over-rated. The mere reference of that devilish word always seems to conjures-up pictures of high calorie, high fat foods only since these are the foods you are most exposed to in our media driven world. Because of that, your subconscious gets accustomed to this and simply does not know any much better. Change your minds images and you’ll change your cravings. Here’s a fast 5 minute psychological exercise you can begin doing now to assist you start altering the method you yearn for food.

Step 1

Find a comfy, peaceful location where there are no distractions. With each count, think of that your mind is drifting deeper and much deeper.

Step 2

After you have ended up counting, think of that you are unwinding on your own in your preferred location. A remote beach or a log in the woods will do the trick. Envision yourself feeling so very relaxed and serene.
