The Author: Who is Dr. Nicole Apelian

Dr. Nicole Apelian is a herbalyst and she’s studied plants and natural remedies for the past 20 years. She’s got her undegraduate degree from McGill University, her masters at the University Of Oregon, and her PhD at Prescott Colleger, Arizona. As she says, she was never afraid of “dirt time”, and she proved it many times throughout her career.

In 2015, she was among the first women to be selected for History Channel’s TV show, Alone. During the show, she spent 57 days in the wild, with just a little more than a knife and all the plants she could find. It was a tough but great experience like none before.

What you will find in The Lost Book Of Herbal Remedies

The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies dr Nicole Apelian wrote is not just another book you can get anywhere. It’s based on knowledge gatheres through living.

Inside the book, you will find – literally – everything you see around you, but with detailed explanations about what it is and how it can help you. You will also learn what plants to avoid at all cost.

You’ll find 800+ beneficial plants and remedies in “The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies“.

The Lost Book Of Herbal Remedies includes detailed recipes of tinctures, teas, decoctions, essential oils, syrups, salves, poultices, infusions and many other natural remedies. All these were used by our grandparents on their own for centuries. What’s also special about this book is that it has between 2 and 4 high definition color pictures for each plant. There are also detailed identification guidelines to make sure you’ve got the right plant in your hand.

As an example, you’ll learn about Cottonwood bud oil.

Excerpt: Cottonwood bud oil is very effective for relieving pain and inflammation in swollen joints, carpal tunnel and muscles. Massage the oil or salve into the affected area 3x/day.

A book made with love

Dr. Nicole Apelian created The Lost Book Of Herbal Remedies with love and affection that she shows with every sentence. Knowledge accumulated is just anbelievable, and I’m sure each and every one of us can find something useful inside.

There are two versions of this book available. A digital version is for everyone loving to read on their iPad. The standard printed book, which I like better, is ment to lye on the shelf between one’s trips to the yard or woods. I say I like it better because I’m the kind of person who likes to sit in the garden with a book, and this book definitely showed me many new things about the scenery I thought I knew so well.

Final thoughts

While depending heavily on the medicinal stuff industry is throwing at us daily, we seem to forget all the things that literally grow around us and that helped the entire human kind survive for centuries. They are free and they many times just grow wildly around us. But without the knowledge gathered in The Lost Book Of Herbal Remedies we just have no idea about what to do with them.

With all this knowledge, we can even save some money for drugs that we often can easily replace with the natural herbal remedies.
